A little local moment, with a more than generous plate for barely 4 (hard to finish!)Cooked fresh with local products. Price of drinks more than reasonable, the glass of wine is a… jar!! I recommend!

It's hard to go anywhere else for lunch after you've been here. The meals are a 250 CVE flat rate and the menu changes slightly every day. Strela Kriola is 100 CVE, so for the total price of 700 CVE for two people you can be very happy. No vegan dishes and not really a vegetarian place either. It gets really crowded between 13.00 and 14.30, so make sure you go right before or right after. We've never been sold "no" here either. Staff speaks a little English and a lot of French besides Kriol and Portuguese. A very reliable business even open on Sundays. Food in the picture is feijão congo.

A really pleasant restaurant with an outside esplanade in a nice street full of very interesting art works painted on the walls. The prices are very reasonable, the food is excellent and the staff and owners are very friendly and helpful. Overall a very positive and recommended experience!

It is a very local restaurant. It does not have a standard menu, only a menu scrawled on a small blackboard. The staff does not speak English, but the overall atmosphere is very good. The alley is full of artistic murals, which is very suitable for taking a rest.Today I ordered Buzio (600CVE), which is fried snail meat with rice. It is one of the national dishes of Cape Verde. He stir-fried it with butter. The snail meat is slightly tough, but the seasoning is very suitable for Asians. The fries come with a lot of different sauces, which is quite sincere.

Excellent place! Very manly portions, cheap - each meal is 250 escudos - and delicious. That's become my go-to place of eating throughout my stay in Praia. Lots of stray dogs and cats around, so keep that in mind if you're against it. If you're indifferent to that, they can become your best friends real quick. Plenty of locals go there to eat and socialize, so you know it's a really good place!
